3. Terms of Business
Appointments & Sessions

Standard sessions last 50 minutes, unless otherwise agreed.

Sessions are arranged by mutual agreement and delivered primarily online.

Future in-person work will be subject to appropriate contracting and risk assessment.

Fees & Payment

Fees are published on the website and reviewed periodically.

Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.

Payments may be made via PayPal; additional payment methods (e.g. Stripe) may be introduced in the future.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

Full details are provided in the individual counselling or supervision contract.

Ending Therapy or Supervision

Work may be ended by either party with appropriate notice.

Planned endings are encouraged and supported where possible.

The practitioner reserves the right to end work if it is no longer appropriate, ethical, or safe to continue.

4. Confidentiality & Its Limits
All counselling and supervision work is confidential. Confidentiality may only be broken in line with legal and ethical obligations, including (but not limited to):

serious risk of harm to the client or others

safeguarding concerns
-
legal requirements (e.g. court orders, terrorism legislation)

Where possible, any breach of confidentiality will be discussed with you in advance.
Clinical supervision is undertaken in line with professional requirements; supervisors are also bound by confidentiality.

5. Online Working
Online therapy and supervision carry some inherent risks related to technology and data transmission. Reasonable steps are taken to minimise these risks, but absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
Clients are responsible for:

ensuring a private and secure space

using a secure device and internet connection
In the event of technical difficulties, alternative arrangements will be attempted where appropriate.
