Counselling
What is Counselling?
Counselling is a space to slow things down and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface. It’s not about being told what to do or having someone “fix” you, it’s about having a thoughtful, attentive conversation where your experiences are taken seriously.
Together, we explore patterns, feelings, and stuck points, helping you understand yourself more clearly and find ways forward that actually fit your life.
Counselling works at your pace, starting exactly where you are, whether you arrive with a clear issue or just a sense that something isn’t quite right.

Therapy
What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how small changes in one can shift the others. It’s a practical, collaborative approach that helps you notice unhelpful thinking patterns, understand how they affect your mood and actions, and gently experiment with new ways of responding.
CBT isn’t about “positive thinking” or ignoring difficult emotions; it’s about building awareness, learning useful tools, and creating real, manageable change in everyday life.
If you’re curious, the best way to know if counselling is right for you is often just to have a conversation. You’re welcome to get in touch and ask questions before deciding anything.
